My Versa 3 is a year and 4 months and after a year, left button stop working- it’s frozen. I don’t get it wet only from sweat! What would cause this?

Before considering other options, please confirm that you've tried placing both forefinger and thumb each side of face and pressing gently, also make sure to cover the entire button with your finger. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
If the above doesn't work, please try restarting your watch as instructed here.
