My Versa 3 is paired, but not Versa 3 controls. How can I get the Versa 3 controls to pair? It keeps saying it cannot pair.

@KFess Have you checked if your mobile device is on the compatible devices list? Is your watch syncing? if not you can follow the steps in this link Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Best AnswerI have the same problem. Am using iphone 6 version 12.5.1. Fitbit app indicates it is syncing. I can change the volume on the iphone with the watch. Google assitant on watch will open spotify on phone. Watch will control Spotify on google assistant device. So what controls are we talking about?

Thanks for the information provided on your post. The Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. You can find useful information about on-wrist phone calls here.

Also having same issues and need help before i lose it with this watch.! i've managed to get versa 3 to pair to bluetooth, but versa 3 controls drops immediately after pairing.
I have a iphone 6 plus which should be compatible, fully up to date.
i've deleted app, and reinstalled.
Joined premium which I thought would help, it didn't
so far i've managed to record a few steps, but for 99.9% of the time it doesn't record anything.
Never has it recorded or shown the heart rate or sleep.
what am I doing wrong, I thought you should be able to put the watch on and it starts to do its thing.
my $60 Kogan does more than this!
@Shelley.b what do you mean drop after pairing.
Does the Versa 3 controls then say not paired?
Does the controls turn off?
On the phone, the Versa 3 controls don't show up in the Bluetooth list?
What happens when a phone call comes in. It is only during a phone call that Controls will show as connected.
I have a samsung 10+ and everything but the versa 3 controls will sync. My Bluetooth on my phone won't even pick up the controls option so now i can't answer phone calls, use music for earbuds etc. Pls tell how to fix?
Have now returned the watch as it was not working as it should, I am now on my second Fitbit versa 3. Fingers crossed this one is a winner.

Hi @Elaine72 the controls do not sync, they pair.
This is exactly the series of steps I've tried completing countless times since my Versa 3's microphone mysteriously stopped working, but the Versa 3 never gets past displaying the code: I accept it from my Pixel 4 phone and the Versa 3 doesn't acknowledge or move on.
I'm not sure what the microphone has to do with pairing the sense controls.
When you say displaying the code, is this when pairing the Sense controls to your I one? Or are you setting up the tracker?
Best AnswerI also cannot pair the versa3 controls with my iPhone 8. I’ve tried the suggestions above but it searches for awhile and gives up. The versa itself syncs up fine. Any further suggestions?

Best AnswerWhat data would their be to lose, all your data is in the cloud, not the tracker or phone.
Hold the button in to restart. Or factory reset under settings. A factory reset will not fix this.

Sorry, we are unable to look over your shoulder. It should be as easy as pairing a speaker or keyboard, which is what this is.
