Versa 3 is not syncing my steps to the Fitbit app

Hi

can anyone explain why I do not have a Fitbit at the moment as it has gone back faulty. I’ve done the reset b4 it went back & removed from my app but it is updating steps?? Thanks

Hi there, @JoyHog. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. 

While reading your post I was wondering if the steps are the only data that is not syncing to your Fitbit app? Is everything else syncing as it should? It seems like your Versa 3 is no paired to your Fitbit account anymore. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.

Hi @JoyHog - you may have MobileTrack installed in the App which collects steps from the phone.

 

To check in the Fitbit App, click profile photo and see if there is an entity with that name.

Hi

thank you but I do not have my Fitbit at the moment as it’s faulty & gone in to you to be replaced as I said & the steps are showing although nothing else is & they’re increasing during the day 

I don’t know why it’s come up on not syncing as the subject as it is syncing steps although I don’t have the watch any more
