Versa 3 keeps disconnecting from my phone's Bluetooth

Hello,

I have a Fitbit Versa 3. I have noticed that everytime I get out of my car (when my phone disconnects from my car) that my fitbit will no longer connect with my phone.

For example... fitbit connects via Bluetooth fine. Go for a drive in my car, phone automatically connects to car. Get home from drive in my car, fitbit no longer connects with my phone.

I do all the reconnecting instructions, plus extra that I've found and tried. Nothing works. Literally have to go through the set up everyday to reconnect my fitbit to my phone.

My husband has the same phone, same fitbit, same make of vehicle....he has none of these issues. It's been like this since I bought it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi there, @Mscdubz. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and also the Fitbit app.
  • Unpair your phone from your car's Bluetooth or vice versa.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth and turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • Once the Versa 3 is paired again to your Fitbit app and phone's Bluetooth, please set up your phone to your car's Bluetooth.
