Hi,
My Versa 3 will not come out of sleep mode using the swipe right shortcut. When I swipe and hit the shortcut, I get the message 'Locked for Sleep Mode'.
The only way I can get it out of sleep mode is to go into settings, go to Quiet Modes and turn it off there. Pretty annoying! This is something that just started in the last couple days. Before that, it was working fine. I have not fooled with any settings in the last couple weeks.
Thanks for your help.

Worth mentioning that I just did a factory reset and it has not changed the behavior.

Check your sleep schedule.
On the watch Settings Quiet modes Scroll to Sleep mode Scroll to & Click SCHEDULE MODE Turn on Off hours Setup the appropriate times - you have it 24 hours Try turning off the schedule also. |

did you try
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit shutdown [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
And resync your watch
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |
For IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App and resetup your Notifications.

Thanks, Interesting issue..
Have you enabled Device lock, or use Fitbit pay?
Does it behave differently when charging?

No to lock and pay. I don't mess with it while it is charging but when I charge it tonight, I will mess with it a bit and see.

Same with my brand new FitBit Versa 3 - the touch screen on my watch is unresponsive so I am unable to bring it out of “locked for sleep mode” - what can I do?

Hi there, @guerinbb. Welcome on board.
Please restart your Versa 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face. Then, please try to turn off the sleep mode.
Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Fitbit versa 3 stuck in sleep mode. Tried going to quiet modes, saw sleep mode on, tapped many many times, could not turn it off.
scrolled down to schedule , tapped many times, nothing.
followed your advice to restart device . Tried teice, no change.
followed your other suggestion to change click face. That also did not work. Help!

@SunsetRunner try swipe to the right on the watch to get to quick settings and turn off moon there.

Thanks. When I swipe right for quick settings I do not see a moon or anything that says moon. I can go into quiet modes but cannot turn off sleep mode or get schedule to do anything

@SunsetRunner If you have a Versa 3 you should see when you swipe right
its the middle top one to turn off
If you can, also try and Shutdown the watch, at the bottom of Settings.
Place the watch on the charger to restart it.
