Versa 3 won't charge sync turn on

Similar to issues here, I can't use my watch anymore as it's a black screen. Vibrates occasionally but won't charge with different chargers and display won't come on to reset.

I'm happy to help you with your Fitbit Versa 3, I really appreciated the steps that you have tried. Let's start with a few simple steps:

  • Restart your Versa: Press and hold the left button for about 10 seconds to restart your device.
  • Clean the back of your device: Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and a small amount of water to gently clean the charging contacts on the back of your Versa.
  • Clean the charging cable pins: Use a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to clean the pins on your charging cable. Make sure to remove any cotton fibers from the pins.
  • Try a different USB port or charger: Plug your Versa into a different USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.

Yes tried those. Similar to the linked issue the problem is you cant reset as it is a black screen. Tried almost everything like the other post when it's in the black screen it's completely frozen. holding for 30s etc doesn't do anything. Leaving it charged overnight still doesn't do anything. Once it a while when it will go completely dead  and it will start charging again or itll reset itself, no rhyme or reason. Charge to 100% and then freezes up with the black screen to start over again.

Feels like a software bug or those infinite loop things. 

This is my 3rd fitbit product and similar to those when they worked they're great, but when they don't they don't.
