My versa 3 got slightly wet in the shower when I realized I still had it on. Have tried every remedy with no success to turn it on. The only thing that appears after logo and slight vibration is a pic of a phone with notation to download and open watch in app. I'm still not able to open it.

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is not connecting to your phone after getting wet. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
As per the message on the watch's screen, it seems that your Versa 3 is asking to be paired. With that said, I'd suggest following the steps below while your Versa 3 is in the charging cable:
