Unless my Versa 3 is constantly connected to my cell phone it loses several minutes a day making it worthless as a watch.

Hi there, @Firemanjoe. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand how you must be feeling.
Keep in mind that your Versa 3 may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. Sync your Fitbit device to see the correct time. For more information, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
Hope that helps.

Hi @Firemanjoe - try restarting your watch. If the problem persists and still under the 1 or 2 year warranty take it back to shop for refund or new replacement.
If you can replace it you could always try a factory reset from the Settings menu, but there is a risk that it may kill the watch entirely due to a possible bug in the process. It takes several minutes to complete so be patient if you do try.
