Hi there, @Deland. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.
May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.
Despite meeting the above requirements, the following devices often exhibit compatibility issues that cause our products and services to not operate properly:
If your phone is not on the list above and meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, please try the steps below:
1. Remove the Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 3.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 3.
Hope that helps.

not working,
Try restarting your phone if you've not already done so. This has fixed our Versa 3 sync problem many times.
I used to have this refusing to sync problem frequently until I fully removed the Fitbit app from my phone, reinstalled it and re-paired it to my watch. All the other steps mentioned did not help.
Another time it would not sync when there was a firmware update pending for the watch, shown on the app home page. Even restarting the phone would not trigger a sync until the watch update was completed.
Might not work for you but worth a try.
My Fitbit app will not sync my info when my phone is connected to wifi. I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation. My phone is updated to iOS 15.4. I had this problem when my phone updated to iOS 15.3, but then when Fitbit updated last week, it was fixed. But now, the the app is back to only working with my cell data. Please help.
