Versa 3 won't sync

My fitbit versa 3 has had a major battery draining issue. I charged it last night and now time is off. Went to go into app and the app is not responding. I uninstalled and reinstalled app and it just stays on login screen. I tried to unpair the watch however I need the app to do that...but...it won't load. Help.

As a first approach, I suggest restarting your Versa 3 by following these steps. If the issue persists, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Regarding the app not working, please make sure it's up-to-date as well as your Versa 3
