My Versa3 won't turn on although the battery is fully charged as shown on the Fitbit App.

Any tips would be appreciated

Hi there, @Wellnessgal. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, the battery level on the Fitbit app updates every time you sync. That means that if your Versa 3 hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync.

If the steps recommended by @Guy_ don't work, as our last resort, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. Don’t plug the Fitbit device into the charging cable.
  2. Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off.
  3. After the screen turns off, you’ll feel a short vibration:
    1. When you feel the vibration, release the button and immediately press and hold the button again.
    2. Wait until the blue logo appears, then disappears:
      1. Immediately release the button and then immediately press and hold it .again, until you feel a vibration.
      2. After you feel the vibration, release the button.
        • This vibration indicates you started the factory reset.
        • After the Fitbit logo appears, the Fitbit device shows the image with the phone icon and setup indicator.

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

If none of the steps work, then, please follow @Guy_'s last advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Hi @Wellnessgal - what is shown in the Fitbit App may be misleading if it hasn't synced for a while, so check when it last synced.

When you hold the button for a second and it doesn't start try placing on charge for 5 minutes as that should start it.

If neither methods help, check the charging process in How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

If that still doesn't work hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears.

If that fails the watch may have a fault and you can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
