Versa GPS not turning on on phone

My versa is not tracking the GPS data after the app update was done. If now says "GPS will not be turned on" In the previous version, it would automatically track the GPS data when my phone was with me. I have tried restarting the app, and phone, logging off and on, nothing works. Anyone knows the solution to this?

Let me help you with your GPS data not being enable on the app. Start by checking the settings on your activities within the Versa itself. Look for the activities then tap the gear icon and make sure GPS is on for it. After this refresh the link between your phone and your Versa by doing the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
