Versa Lite - Swim Tracking

I’ve seen a couple of videos on YouTube which suggest the Versa Lite does not track swimming laps, but when I look at the spec on Fitbit for the Lite it does say it tracks swimming.

Can someone tell me if it does track exercise in the water please? Laps, etc?

Is it possible to change pool length from 25 to 50 meter pool. Seems not, to me anyway. Why would they remove this?

Agree with you. It did track my swim with basic info, which is fine but there’s no way to change the length of the pool. Why? Why strip that out to save money, surely it couldn’t be costly to leave that in.

Not a lot of point in doing that, if it’s only to check the time, when there’s one on the wall most probably. You must go careful when you add something. I did and it overwrote the swim that was recorded and I lost all the data.

You must swim for more than ten mins. You will have to change that in the settings from 15mins. It takes a while for it to sync to your phone. Mine didn’t show up for twenty mins or so. Also. It only tracks you in a 25m pool. If you use an Olympic pool, it won’t know, it’ll assume you’re in a 25m pool. There’s no way to change this, which is ludicrous in my opinion.

Hello @AlessFitbit, is it ok if I can just ask you a few things via the swim tracking? Is their a free app you can install on Fitbit Versa Lite that tracks swimming? If not, please can you explain to me how I can track it on my Versa Lite? Is it monitored on the Fitbit mobile app? Please can someone explain to me how! Thanks
