My fitbit battery has been draining within hours and I just noticed it looks like there's something inside my sensor. I have had to charge it multiple times a day for several days now

Hi there, @Icymac78. Welcome on board.
Please restart your Versa Lite as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Hope that does the trick.
