HELP....My Versa Lite is less than two months old. This morning my screen went from white to black.  I'm trying to charge it but nothing is happening. If the battery is dead, won't it indicate it's being charged when plugged in?  I've pressed the button on the side and nothing. I thought I'd restart as suggested, but there is not back button.  I'm at a loss.  Would you please help me??  Thank you.

Welcome to the Community Forums @kmh5959! Thanks for letting me know about your Versa Lite's behavior. Also, thanks for trying to troubleshooting. Woman Wink

Based on the description of your post, please check on the Fitbit app if your Versa Lite is still syncing. If so, change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Don't worry if you cannot see anything on the display by now, this process is done through the Fitbit app.

If the steps don't work, please leave your Versa Lite on the charger at least 1 hour and then try to restart it by following these steps

Let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

My clock face won't change. It said that the watch needs to be turned on which is what I'm trying to fix.

I’m having this same issue on my Versa Lite but I can’t change the screen because it’s saying the watch isn’t connected to my device. I tried resetting it and felt it vibrate but still nothing appears on the screen. It’s plugged in on the charger and nothing has changed.

I'm having this exact same problem! Nothing works to fix it😤

I called customer service and waited maybe 5 minutes to speak to someone and they resolved my issue immediately!

I just called customer service and they walked me thru the steps I already tried on my own which did not work. He then told me there's nothing they can do 🤷‍:female_sign:.... but offer me a discount on a new one.

Same thing happened to me. Purchased brand new from target in April 2019. They won’t replace it. This is my third Fitbit product and every single one has bit the dust in just over a year after the warranty is up. This one cost 160+ and won’t work. All they can do is offer a 25% discount on another purchase. So in a year, I will have to spend another 160 because following the past events, it won’t last past a year. Ironic that soooooo many people are in the same boat as me. I’d rather spend more on a quality tracker than one that breaks every year and a company who won’t stand by their product!!!   So frustrating!!!

I actually lost my Fitbit Alta HR and I loved that one. I had no issues with it ever. This is the first real issue I’ve had with this one but mine was still covered under warranty.

Mine was still under warranty thankfully so they replaced it for free. I also have the option for 50% off one of the other types of fit bits. I went with the same one. But now I’m wondering since so many people had this issue maybe I should’ve gotten a different version. Oh well.

This is exactly what just happened to me, I’m not impressed.

Hello. I am experiencing the same problem. I tried changing the clock face as well as turning it off but it did not work for me.  I know it’s syncing with my phone as it is still counting my steps. There is just no display

Woke up and the screen was really dark and the time was in red. Immediately after that, it went fully black and I haven't been able to see the screen since. Super weird. Going to let it charge for an hour as recommended above, then call customer service if it isn't resolved.

Unfortunately there's no way to fix it. I continued to wear mine to track my steps and went swimming about 2 weeks later and my screen gave popped off!!! Very upset with fitbit

Hello, I have been reading the forum as I too have had issues with my fitbit versa lite screen going entirely blank with no return of function.  As recommended, I changed my clock face with no resolution.  I reviewed the steps indicating how to restart my versa lite, followed the instructions and still, nothing.  I have left my versa lite on the charger so it is fully charged.  It seems to be tracking and syncing, but the screen remains blank.  Can you offer other possible help?  Thanks so much.
