Hello,
My watch successfully updated but has some odd behaviour since.
When I recieve a phone call now the number comes up on my watch and vibrates as it should. Although, after the call has ended the watch continues to show the caller number and keeps vibrating and I have to turn the watch on and off again.
I wouldn't mond once or twice but EVERY phonbe call this happens on?
Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
Thank you
Andrew

Hubby is going to do that today since he has a day off. We actually managed to get it hooked up to a Windows 10 laptop last night and that didn’t work either. Believe it or not, I miss having my Fitbit. I used it more than I realized.

After seeing that this issue is so pervasive and none of my hours of troubleshooting (if you link me to the basic troubleshooting page and ask me to confirm that I've tried it more time I'll go crazy) I've decided to give up on this product, and Fitbit as a whole because they thought it was a good idea to make it. If you're reading this and have spent hours and hours puzzling: it probably isn't going to work, you wasted your money.

my versa lite is doing the same
i did a hard reset to give to my husband
after that it took along time to download update (hours and hours)
now the unit updates to 100% and then the watch resets itself back to a hard reset (all on its own)
then reconnects but the update stays at 100% and then watch resets again
vicious circle over and over
how do i fix this

Are you aware that tech support is still suggesting a factory reset as a fix? Has no one told them this bricks devices?

Well. After Support told me to do a reset and it bricked my watch, I can’t get the Win10 fix to work either. I contacted a supervisor who wants to...
send me a new Versa Lite. Which won’t be able to update either. Right? Am I crazy or would that be completely unhelpful? I’m super frustrated right now.

Did you try the steps show above. The worked for me AFTER I did a reset and bricked my Versa lLite. You have to connect the Windows 10 laptop to your Fitbit via Bluetooth and then make sure your phone does NOT connect for the time being.
Reposting this in the hope that it helps.
-----------------
I experienced the same thing as others in this thread. The firmware update made my touchscreen very unresponsive, almost dead. I did a factory reset before I read the first entry here that said not to do it. I re-paired the Versa Lite to my phone. During set up it said I had a firmware update. It took a day to more or less complete. I was asleep at the time but when I woke up it was stuck in a reboot loop. Nothing I did would stop it.
Here is what I did, it worked, and it was a LOT faster than before with the phone.
I forced stopped the app on my Android phone (so it could NOT connect to the Fitbit). You could also turn of Bluetooth on your phone.
I set up the Fitbit app on my Win 10 laptop.
I connected the USB charger to the USB port on my laptop.
Got laptop Bluetooth to pair my Win 10 Laptop with Versa Lite.
Laptop said USB device "Versa Lite" was also recognized.
Started the update from within the WINDOWS 10 app (not the phone app).
It took just over an hour for the whole update, and it worked! The Versa Lite is set up with the older (pre-November) firmware and I am going to leave it that way until I hear they have fixed this problem.

Yes, that’s the Win10 fix I mentioned. 😭 Tried three times only to have it fail.

I did the Windows 10 PC fix like GOYOM suggested and it worked
my Versa Lite was bricked as well
the update did take a few hours but all is well and thank you for the fix.

What about the issue for the Versa? Is Fitbit aware of this issue and working to resolve it as well?
