Versa Lite notifications issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am so disappointed with my Fitbit versa lite. I like the design/appearance of the watch and the watch is easy to navigate, but that is the end of my positive feedback. My Fitbit app constantly tells me to restart my phone to enable notifications (which hasn't worked). So, my watch does not connect to my app, does not connect to my Bluetooth, does not show texts or calls, and does not allow me to control my music. It doesn't do any of the things I bought it for. I'm wishing I never spent money on it. I want it to work because I want to like it, but I have tried everything and nothing makes it work.

@EmilyLamb, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the notifications and connection issues that you are experiencing with your Fitbit Versa. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you.

I'd like to know what is the brand and model of your phone.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I have a TMobile Revvl2 that runs Android. I've tried the troubleshooting
many many times, but my Fitbit will not complete the firmware update and
therefore won't even function as a watch or step counter, let alone
notifying me of texts or calls. I wanted to purchase something that was
simple and intuitive to set up. This has been neither of these things so
far.

@EmilyLamb, I'm sorry for the late response. However, thank you for letting me know the information requested previously and trying the recommended troubleshooting steps.

Since you mentioned that you have a TMobile Revvl2 phone, I'm afraid that this model is not in the Supported devices list. This may be the reason why the notifications feature is not working.

However, you can submit a compatibility request of this device in our Feature Suggestions board and people can vote for it. The more votes this idea gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineering team.

We appreciate your patience and understanding with this.

I'll be around if any question arises.
