I got a Versa Lite for Christmas and am learning how to use it, but I cannot figure out how to reset the steps to zero when I get up. I don’t think I should have to do this, but two mornings in a row the watch already starts my day with a few hundred steps. I do not wear the watch to bed. It just sits on the bedside table quietly. How do I fix this?

@Eliz123 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Versa lite starting the day with steps already recorded. Does your Versa lite have any alarms set? Is it near any vibrating electronic like a working AC unit, fan or computer? Being nearby or being the cause of vibration may cause the device to count steps as it will detect the motion.
Let me know how it goes.
