I'm incredibly frustrated with my Versa Lite. I do not have a pink "update" option from my device settings screen on my iPhone when I'm in the app so I have no idea if it's updated to the latest version of firmware. I also cannot install spotify to my Versa, because the fixes all say to make sure I have the latest update, but that isn't possible without the screen commands the fix/help pages say that I should see. How do I update my device without that option and how do I install Spotify?
I have the latest version of the Fitbit app on my iPhone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled fitbit on my phone. I have turned my phone off and on. I have turned off my versa and restarted it. These are all the suggestions I'm finding and still nothing...it's irritating for this type of purchase.

Hi @rthacker42 firmware updates are released on a rolling basis, so it may just be it's not your turn to receive it. You can't force it to update. If you didn't see it, here is the article on firmware - click

So if I can't update it, how do I install the apps the require the latest download? There are SEVERAL apps that I cannot install due to this. Frustrating.

@rthacker42 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Versa lite firmware update. The help article: How do I update my Fitbit device? states the following:
"Leave on all-day sync and let the Fitbit app run in the background on your phone, which allows a small portion of the firmware update to download to your Fitbit device each time you sync. To check that all-day sync is turned on: In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > confirm All-Day Sync is on."
So as suggested keep using your Versa lite as you would normally do and sync it periodically so you can see the firmware update for it.
@Odyssey13 thank you for your help in this thread.
Let me know how it goes.
