Can anyone advise if the touchscreen is meant to work when using in exercise mode, swimming. I find that I have to use buttons to stop and end while in the water. Touchscreen doesn't work . is this normal?

@Valmac17 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I agree with my friend @N8teGee. The water may affect the contact of your fingers and the screen of your tracker. In this case I'd recommend using the buttons for swimming activities. For activities done when you don't have contact with water, is ok to use the touch screen.
@N8teGee I appreciate your contribution and feedback my friend!

I believe so. Water interferes with capacitive touch displays, so it would make sense for Fitbit to disable the display when you use the swim exercise.
