Hi, I have just updated my Versa. which went fine.
I then went out for an identical walk as yesterday .e.g. the same route. Yesterday i recorded a distance of 3.14miles.
Today i only recorded 2.10miles.
I was 4 minutes faster today.
Can you advise why this might have happened please?
I know my watch was fine up until the update, because i have been running Strava and my watch when i have be out cycling and the information has been the same.

I have a Versa for daily usage and a Ionic for running.
While nott using the Ionic it is obvious to switch it of and on if needed. But there is this ****ing battery drain also when it is off.
I am in this situation because after my 6th Ionic (3 were killed by wearing in water) I decided to buy a Versa und only use my last Ionic for runs and only clean it with a wet tissue afterwards to avoid water damage.

The update went through smooth in around ten minutes. Everything is fine for now.
I will check the notification problem. -> done. it is working as expected.

Factory reset bricked both mine and wife's Versas last night. Fortunately I'm still under warranty and was able to get the replacement process going this morning, but this is a significant issue that needs to be fixed.

So this has bricked the versa I bought as a gift for a family member and tech is saying the fix is to purchase a new one.Your warranty should be in effect in perpetuity when its your own software that causes the device failure.
Might be time for another brand as I've had numerous zips just quit on their own and this is the second time a versa has bricked upon an update.
after good while and elevating they made a 1 time exception for a second time...

Hi - I did the upgrade yesterday and since then the battery is draining in 4-6 hours. Tried the factory reset also but not working. Really disappointed.

Seeing the various posts coming through about battery draining still occurring and bricking of devices, it's starting to resemble a bit of Dejavu with this new firmware version and the December 2019 firmware version. This is not good! Come on Fitbit fix these issues so folks can have a seamless and positive experience updating their devices.

Sure wish I had done more research before getting a Fitbit product. I was going to get one for my mom's birthday, but definitely not planning that any longer.

I'm not sure if anyone else has come up against this, but my clock faces in the app won't update and I can't change any settings. They hang while updating. Even the default "layers" clock face doesn't work. The progress bar runs for about half an hour, then the screen goes grey. If I restart the app I'm prompted to "continue installing" and the merry-go-round starts again.
I can change clock faces on the watch, but not from the app (and they've all reset to default settings), so the issue seems to be at the app end, not the watch.
I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted and reset everything.
Is it because they're free faces?

Since beginning the update process (it’s so long) my Fitbit lite will no longer turn on and stay on. It keeps restarting and asking me to connect to my phone which I have done a hundred times just for it to restart again. What happens now?

On a positive note, today I've been able to log water on my watch and it now syncs with the app. Good job on fixing this issue fitbit! Now please fix the battery drain issue and the battery draining when turned off, and I will be able a happy customer.

Mine will actually not do anything but constantly go into reset. It’s done. I had it for less than a year. I should have never accepted the update but I didn’t think anything of it. It’s upsetting because it’s not a cheap watch and it wasn’t old at all. I am almost positive I will not be getting another Fitbit.

Hi, I updated my versa lite on wednesday too. The screen started jumping around after so I restarted it and the display then stayed on. In the morning it was moving again so I switched it off. It then wouldn't switch on and its completely dead even though it had been charged. I contacted support online and they are sending me a replacement. I have never had any issues before so I was disappointed it couldn't be fixed but its very strange how it happened straight after the update.

After the update, my Versa Lite is not syncing.
This is my second Versa Lite. My first one had so many syncing issues that it was replaced under warranty. I'm going through the usual re-starting and turn off/turn on procedures.
Whomever writes the code for these firmware updates really needs to do some more testing before rolling them out!
