Hi. What are the plans to address the various issues we seem to be experiencing with this update. Currently awake, and noticed my versa lite hasn't synced since 11 15pm. It is not 240am and my versa says the time is 220am.
Here is what I posted on another thread and didn't get a response:
Every since the update sent to my phone for the versa lite, the versa has stopped syncing at 2am every morning. Additionally the time is behind by about 30 mins.
The app was updated, my phone is updated, note 10, I have restarted the versa, I have Forced closed the app, and I have restarted my phone. Nothing has worked. I know that I am losing data because I am 30 mins behind and I am up and moving for several hours before it may sync. I have tried to manually sync and it has a read exclamation mark and sometimes says no device found.
One the first day this happened i tried to reconnect the versa from the beginning, and it took almost an hour, which is way longer than it has ever taken.
All of this happened after the firmware update.

Not sure who to reach out to. Prior to new update 4/2020 my battery was fine. Now it will drain over night on a full charge. Hard 100% last night and this morning I'm at 3%
Was working great prior to update.

You are not alone with this issue if you read the posts on this thread as well as other individual posts.
The excessive battery drain issue was introduced with the December 2019 firmware update. Many users complained and posted about this issue and as you can see the bug wasn't adddressed nor corrected with this new firmware update.
I asked if there was going to be a patch for this bug and there hasn't been a response.

@AlessFitbit
Since December update I've been experiencing issues with the touchscreen. After doing a factory reset and reinstalling the mobile app (and configuring the watch again) started working again... for few days.
Yesterday I deployed the last firmware and the issue persist.. is it a hardware issue in Versa watches?
I'm in Argentina (South America) - Is there any place where I can get my Versa fixed?

Yes. Once end of last July, received early August. Used my extended warranty through Square Trade. Best $54 spent. I was JUST outside the FitBit 1 year warranty. Bought in May 2018 for Mother’s Day. First Display went out a little more than a year later. The Square Trade replacements are $25. Display issues both times. I thought about upgrading and giving my husband my Versa, but then this display went out 😳 again.

I was forced to update and now my Versa is not working. The battery is draining, the watch doesn't light up when I move my wrist, it's not calculating distance or steps. Basically worthless. Since I'm over warranty I was offered a discount that equals the same price as they sale they are currently running. THIS IS NOT A BENEFIT!! Fix your issues so my current product will work!! I am so dissatisfied with this!

I had this happen in January with the shut down and not turning back on. I did not do the update in December. My screen went black and even on the charger did not show any signs of life. I called customer support and they had me to some steps to try and get it to turn back on. Nothing, was given a coupon for 25% off. Did not buy a new Versa. I put this one in a drawer for a few weeks. About 3 weeks after it turned off I put it back on the charger and it turned on. Now, I've been having issues with it stopping notification every few days, so I just press and hold all 3 buttons till the Fitbit symbol come up and then the notification will come back through.

Another new update and my Versa now doesn't barely gets me thru a workday. This is very, very sad. I WILL BEGIN researching other fitness band options, since Fitbit will no longer be an option for me. Charged my Versa last night, its 1:46PM and battery is at 49%. HATE IT!!!

I've done everything. And have spent so much time trying to get this fixed over the last two days. I've turned off, back on, deleted app, re-downloaded, factory re-set, charged for 30 minutes, cleaned it, changed the clock face, everything!! I assume this is just their business model?? Release an update that forces their products to quit working so people have to buy a new one?? But the discount is the same as their current sale. Support is nice when you contact them, but I feel like I'm crazy for assuming my product should just work for longer than two years and shouldn't quit working due to an issue the company caused! This is ridiculous. Won't ever buy a Fitbit again.
