My wife has a zip and I have a Versa which I just got. Now the data like steps, etc, are combined and show on each device. For example, I was at the breakfast table and my wife took the dog for a walk. When I opened my Versa it showed the 3800 steps she took on her walk. Those same numbers appeared on her Zip. What have I done wrong and any suggestions on how to fix it?

Hello @ZipVersa, thanks for coming back!
Are you guys using the same mobile phone to sync the Versa and the Zip? If so, in this case what you'll need to do is log out every time one of you want to sync your device. How so? Well, if the devices are currently paired to your account and the Zip belongs to your wife, you'll need to remove the Zip from your Fitbit account so the Versa will be the only paired to your profile.
Now, to set up your wife's Zip you'll need to log out from your account so she can start creating a new Fitbit profile. After logging out you'll get in the main screen "Join Fitbit" and "Log In". Due to she doesn't have an account yet, click "Join Fitbit" to get started. Thus, each of you will have a personal Fitbit account linked to your Fitbit based on your personal information.
On the other hand, if your Versa is not responding to the taps I'd recommend restarting it by following these steps.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be around.

Each user should have own account/email. It sounds like you might be both set up on same account.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @ZipVersa!
As @JohnnyRow mentioned and suggested, only one person can use an account. When you create a Fitbit account you’re asked for personal information, such as height and weight, so that certain data is calculated correctly. For example, your height determines your distance measurement. Setting up unique accounts ensures that each person’s dashboard provides an accurate picture of daily activity. If give your device to another person, they must create a new account.
However, you can use the Versa and Zip on the same account only if they belong to you since the data will be calculated based on your personal information as mentioned above. To get more detailed information about this, see: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
Let us know if you have any questions, we'll be glad to continue assisting you.

So how do I get back to the original setup screen to separate the email addresses? It appears that I may have to delete one account and then start over. Is that correct?
Second question: Has anyone had a Versa that is very stubborn in responding to taps or slides to it face to get it open? I have to hit the face six or eight time before it activates!!
