Versa battery draining fast

First time poster on here...

I have just got a Fitbit Versa and did the full charge and set up etc. I turned off the always sync and the enable always connected. I also made sure to turn off quick view so that doesn't waste battery. The description of the battery life states that i should be getting 4 ish days battery life (I was expecting 3 to be honest) but with only very minor use mine is draining 4% an hour roughly so after a full day it is basically at 0. I am having to charge it every day when i get in from work.

I do use it to track my time on the bike for an hour each night so i understand that may put a little strain on it but i would like to think that it performing what it is meant for shouldnt drain the battery to much.

Is there something that i am missing or do i just have one with a dodgy battery?

Unfortunately my Versa died completely after just over a year of owning it. When I called Fitbit they told me they could not replace it as it was just out of warranty. They sent me a discount to buy a new one, but I'm really frustrated about the whole situation 😕

And of course this £160  ($200 ?) piece of unreliable mixed materials cannot be repaired or disassembled for reuse, so will go to landfill.

I am having battery issues with my Versa as well.  I have owned it for 2.5 years and for most of that time I got 4-5 days of battery life out of it.  That was satisfactory for me.  As of the past month, I can hardly get 2 days.  I have tried all of the recommended actions (factory reset, re-load app on my phone, turned off heart monitor, reduced screen on time, etc) and nothing has worked.  It is a shame because this watch worked pretty well for me.  Considering that replacing the battery is likely to result in damaging the screen, I have decided to move on.  I will not be buying another Fitbit product because I think a watch life should last longer or the battery should be replaceable.  I am not a fan of the "disposable" watch concept that seems to be Fitbit's approach.  Like many others, I have discovered that Amazfit GTS is a great alternative for nearly half price.  There is also the added benefit that Google is not the parent company.  I prefer to minimize their access to my personal data as much as possible considering that their privacy policies are sketchy at best.  If Fitbit changes their design philosophies, I may return some day in the future.

This affects me too and I have tried all the troubleshooting tips that have been provided. My Versa Lite won't sink with my challenges and the battery is constantly draining fast not to mention the heart rate monitor is not working. I have research, reset and restarted the fitbit versa lite with no solution.  Please help.

Same with my watch. 2 years & 9 months and battery has started to drain faster in recent weeks. The screen always stays off for me & I pushed it to get 4-5 days max. I am also debating whether to go with fitbit sense or garmin. I think fitbit has good tracking algorithm, but their eco-system is becoming a walled garden because of all their upcoming health oriented business ideas for money making.
