My Versa battery has been lasting around 4 days since I received it as a present at Christmas 2018. Suddenly this week the battery life dropped to 36 hours, then to less than 24.
I hadn't changed any settings or changed the way I use it. I use it as a watch and fitness tracker, and receive phone notifications of calls and messages, but don't use the music function.
Any advice?

Hello
I have had the same issue with my previous devices such as the Flex and Alta HR. I learned that the charger was going bad as it would not charge the devices in full or it would prevent from holding a charge. Once I purchased a new charger they were back to charging normal. Sometimes the wires get old just like phone chargers. I would start there before buying a new device. Also keep in mind that the plug that you use to put the usb part in might be going bad too.
Good Luck

@TravellingMatt It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Sorry to hear that your Versa's battery is draining quickly and thank you for checking the settings. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
@Jeuls.Bit thank you for your suggestions, they are quite helpful.
Let me know how it goes.
