So angry and frustrated. My Versa (less than a month old) has died this morning, nothing, nada, zero, blank screen. It won't charge up it won't do anything. It was fine yesterday with a full charge not this morning nothing and I lost a whole work out!

Yeah looks like you might have to.
They are pretty quick at sending a replacement.

Greetings,

I saw the additional posts come up on this. I just wanted to revisit to provide an update to my last post.

I've been sticking to the FitBit made clock screen and haven't tried another customer screen. I only charge it if it's under 20%, or about to die. I get about 4 days of battery, sometimes more. I've been clearing texts as I read them so I don't experience a huge list, which I weighed in as a reason why my clock face might've locked up, alongside the customer clock faces from 3rd parties.

Even though it states it's water resistant, I take it off to shower. I just don't have the disposable cash to play 'how waterproof is it' and taking it off for 15-20 mins isn't going to dent my stats.

I have not experienced the blank screen since I initially reported it. I warned my mom about my impressions of this issue and how to avoid it, and she has not come to me with any issues thus far and she's been using it for about two weeks.

Regards!

Side note: My boyfriend went with the Samsung watch and I have to say, I like the FitBit better. My employer also offers a subsidy to assist in purchasing the FitBit, which is awesome!

1. FitBit is widely accepted by fitness programs

2. It is finely tailored to fitness, mindfulness, and wellbeing (lightweight, water proof, apps to track)

3. It cared enough to add women-specific features (monthly cycle)

4. The food database is absolutely fantastic!

5. The only thing I hate is the band, and it's replaceable so.. hard to be mad.

His Samsung isn't accepted by his healthcare directly, so he had to rig it through a different app to track since they get pretty fantastic fitness bonuses. His looks like a traditional watch. It's boring and looks bulky. It has a lot of the features my FitBit has but I think he still looks at mine with some envy in regards to the app. Also, I can't group with him to track our fitness together now 😞

Mine still turns off every day and night. More than once a day too. Restart doesn't work for me. The only thing that works is to put it on th he charger until the fitbit icon appears. Oh and mine doesn't keep track of steps while dark. It doesn't count anything while dark. I've done everything I've seen suggested in this forum.  This has been going on for almost a month.

Hi there. My suggestion is don’t waste anymore time and contact customer services. They will ask you a series of questions and then if they can’t come up with a solution they will probably just send you a new Fitbit. I got my one within a few days.

Good luck

I’ve had the same problem, about a month old and I woke up this morning and the screen was blank and it wouldn’t sync. I charged it and still nothing I thought the whole watch had died but then it started vibrating when my phone was ringing. I have tried all the reset options but no logo will show up, it also felt really hot when I took it off charge...please help 😓

The best thing to do is contact customer services and explain the problem. It’s a pretty quick process and they will ask you a series of questions and then most probably get you to make a short recording of you trying the factory reset as proof.
I received my replacement pretty quick.
Is annoying as there is clearly a major problem with the Versa but they won’t refund you!

Good luck

Mine is less than 3 months old, and it's doing this black screen thing too! I was just sitting in a chair and it went off. It had at least 50% battery earlier today so it wasnt dead. Tried plugging it up just in case, and still backlight will show up but black screen. The back sensor light was on at one point, now it's off too. I tried the reset and it won't work. Also can't get it to factory reset. So upset!!

Can you do that even if you bought it from a retailer, like Kohls?
