Versa clock face error

Got my Fitbit in May 2018 - it is now December. Had some fun initially trying out new clock faces but finally settled on one I liked. It is nice to have so many options and the freedom to change my clock face whenever I like -- WARNING: you should read the words attached to every clock face option because some of them cost money, and they don't all give you the same trial period for deciding if you want to keep it. Now to the PROBLEM: one mording a couple weeks ago I woke up to find the Clock Error message on the face of my watch. Then when trying to download a new one there was endless searching and messages to make sure my device was on and in range - It is on and is six inches close enough? Lots of problems finding a clock face that would actually load -- and, relevant to the warning above, I got one loaded only to discover it was going to cost a dollar and I did not like it well enough to pay that and, guess what, it took until the next day to be able to select and load another (free) face.

Well you'd think my problems were over, having found a face i can live with - but, no, this morning I wake up and find another Clock Effor message. When you go onto the clock faces, it shows you "My Clock" and the option to select a different one (why not also give us the option to reload it???), so here I go off on another search for a face with the stats I want that isn't too ugly and doesn't cost extra to have it -- mission accomplished, for now anyway.

What I want to know is, after approx 6 months with no problems in the clock face situation, am I all of a sudden getting this Clock Error, and how often am I going to be put through this annoying search and load exercise?

Hi, I using now for a few weeks a clock face called "Minimal Analog" and had no problems at all. It's indeed minimal, but highly customizable and battery friendely as it's size is only 25 kB. What do you get for it?

1. Of course an analog time

2. On the bottom in the middle you can display stats you want, e.g. steps, HR, calories or date. Just pressing on it is enough to scroll through them. The last you choose, will stay there untill you choose another one. F.i. if you choose steps as the last one and your display goes black and you move your wrist to switch it on again, steps are still displayed. There is one minor but: after heavy duty/working it sometimes happens that it displays calories instead of steps.

3. You can adjust the color of the time indicator

4. You can also adjust the color of the stats.

5. Best of all: it's free!

Charged my versa yesterday evening and my battery is at this moment 92%. Good luck and hope this face will solve your problems.

Thanks so much for the advice to use the Minimal Analog clock face that you find helpful. Unfortunately, it is not an answer to my issue of problems loading any clock face, which I am still having problems with.
