My screen went black, it still will register my steps and everything else to the app but won't show anything on screen,  it still vibrates and the green light works on the back... anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks.

Your update is appreciated @Amg86.

I'm sorry to know that you're still experiencing difficulties with the display of your Versa but thanks for your effort troubleshooting this issue with me. Since the issue is still affecting your device, please follow the next steps to try our factory reset procedure:

  1. Hold down the button (reboots device after 8 seconds).
  2. Wait until the Fitbit logo disappears.
  3. Release the button briefly (2 seconds), and hold the button down again.
  4. Wait until a long vibration is felt. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.

Keep me posted.

I have tried to restart,  and I even Googled different things and nothing seems to work. 🤔

Hi RicardoFitbit,

I encountered similar problem mentioned by Amg86 'My screen went black, it still will register my steps and everything else to the app but won't show anything on screen' in the morning today. My Versa was able to sync with my iphone, I could see the battery was half full, my steps were updated.

Then I followed your instructions to reset the device to fix the black dispaly. It only got worse - my Versa got disconnected from iphone app and the display is black all the time.

In the app I can see the Fitbit Versa software is ver 72.1.15.

 Can you advise, please?

Thank you!
