Versa doesn’t charge

I got my versa yesterday and was so excited to start using it. The watch itself has been fine. However went to charge it yesterday... it says “not enough power detected” and then the little battery symbol looks like it’s charging. It’s took hours and hours to get from 32 to 52 percent. It then flickers with this message. I’ve made sure it’s secure in the cradle. Still feting these conflicting messages. Help please!

What do you have it plugged into? If it's a computer then it usually doesn't like USB hubs.

Have you tried power from a wall charger, such as you use for your phone?

Thanks for your swift reply. Yes it’s plugged into a wall charger ☹️

Tbh I think it’s the charger at fault here not the Fitbit (she said tentatively🥺)

You could try contacting customer support. They may be able to tell if it's the charger from the server side. In a few hours the US based web chat should be available via: contact.fitbit.com

If it ends up being a defective charger then they can also sort that out via warranty.

I’ve had my versa for about 2 months now and haven’t used it for 1 of those  because it wouldn’t charge about a week ago I put it on charge and I heard it vibrating on my bedside table and I looked at it and it was 40% now 7 hours later it’s 39% and I never took it off charge, what do I do? DO I get a new charger or do I take the versa back?

Bought my Versa less than 4 months ago.  It simply died.  Black screen unless it’s plugged into charger. Once paired it shows to be charging. It doesn’t charge however.  Turned it off and on 2 dzn times or

more.  Still won’t take or hold a charge. Is there anything that can be done other than trashing it and buying an Apple Watch????
