When I read messages on my Versa it doesn't always delete them. I tried hitting read, clear all etc. but some still won't delete. Any suggestions?

I have a Versa 2 and while I do receive email notifications from my Gmail account when I select to delete the message from my watch, the notification never disappears unless I manually clear it after deleting the message.  It would seem to me once you open the message and delete it or mark it read it should automatically clear the notification on the watch.  The delete option does in fact delete the email on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9 , Android 10) and clears the notification on the phone as well, just not on the watch.  Am I missing something here or is this an issue w the watch firmware?

HiThis happens to me too. I have to clear it on my phone by refreshing it and then it goes away.Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.

I can only conclude then this is shoddy coding by the developers. Crap like this should be caught in beta testing and fixed before a product hits general release to the public.
