Versa having difficulties syncing with phone

I updated my versa and now it has a difficult time syncing with my phone, Samsung S9, it looses time, and will no longer hook up to my ipod to control the music. My phone says no device found...blue tooth on, all day sync on..i have restarted my phone and the the versa too..does not help.   This upgrade kinda unhinged eveything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Let me help you with your Versa not properly syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I have done all of this and now I can't even get the Versa to pair with my phone.  Yes I have the versa in pair mode and phone simply does not find it.  😞  I no longer even get the little reminders to move every hour even though it is set up to do so.  Not sure exactly what happened during the update.

Since the issue persist after trying the troubleshoots the best thing to do is letting our Support team know about this. I noticed that you already have a ticket with them so keep working with the team to find a solution.
