I have my heart rate turned on, but my versa isn't tracking heart rate. Anybody else having this issue?

I am inclined to agree. Wasn't sure I was going to get any satisfaction
until they offered to replace. I declined to upgrade as I am now a bit
leery of the products. I had one of the original bottom line fitbits and
it quit syncing with the charger. I'll see how this works (not much faith
in it) before I become more invested.

I have the same issue. It worked fine for about 3 weeks then the hr stopped working. I have tried everything listed to no avail.

Same here, nothing worked to get it going again. Luckily mine still was
within warranty and was replaced.

Mine shows heart rate (consistantly dayly, although I had a some days not showing for a while during the summer).

However, it doesn't use heart rate very well, because it doesn't show sleep stages, only basic sleep. It has only ONCE since I onw it (about 1 year) given me sleep stages.

I've tried everything and given up. I don't know what it is, but maybe Fitbit should review it deeply.

My versa lite shows my heart rate all over the place, anywhere from 80 to 160, I know for a fact that my resting heart rate is around 55 to 60 BPM , also this week the watch is no longer keeping the correct time, it’s about 20 minutes behind time. Anyone else having this issue, my versa lite is less than a year old. Already been replaced once because the original one went blank.

I've tried all of these steps and still nothing.  The green light does flash on the back, but the HR always just says "--".  Any other ideas?  Is the watch just broken?

Not only is the HR not working but now it’s 4:02 PM and my Fitbit says 1:36, time hasn’t been right for the last several days. Any suggestions ?

My Versa lasted probably longer than most of you, about 14 months. Did everything well until 1) battery life tanked-lasting only 16-18 hours after going about 3-4 days. 2) heart rate monitor-started giving crazy reads then fully stopped working. I can't use the sleep function because it doesn't last the entire 24 hours. Fitbit offered a 35% discount on a new one since I'm out of warranty but honestly, do I want to get another if it won't last any longer than just over a year? Seems like a waste.

Give it time.  My heart rate stopped working, I did all the things you did and they replaced it. 5 months later, it happened again but it is out of warranty so I am out of luck.  Clearly there is a reliability issue.  The only reason why I purchased the Fitbit over Apple Watch was battery life but it doesn’t seem like it’s worth it anymore.  I am willing to charge every other day if it gets me a reliable device that can track my sleep.

It is a waste.  My second Versa 2 became defective  just after 5 months.  No more heart rate.  I baby this thing.  I don’t shower with it even though I can.  I take it off when I do yard work, which is a bummer because I lose those steps, and I’m afraid to use it when on my boat, even though it’s for swimming and after all of this, it still breaks.  There isn’t a scratch or blemish on this, just bad quality control or poor design.  I’m purchasing an Apple Watch and will just have to deal with a 1-2 day battery.

So far so good for me but we'll see. I've been passively saving up for an apple watch though. But I will keep using this versa until it dies again and they refuse to replace it again. Want to at least get the illusion that I got my money's worth.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue. Over a week so far no heart rate. Tried many resets including a factory settings one. No joy.

either I’ve been dead over a week and didn’t realise it or I need help.

Yeah, I have 2 Versa 2’s with no heart rate. The other day, I got it to turn on for 30 seconds after being dead for weeks. I’m not entirely sure it’s hardware. Either way, I am done with Fitbit. I ordered the new Wyze watch since it appears to be equivalent to this thing and it only costs $20. If it isn’t any good, I will get an Apple Watch and suffer with a 1 day battery

Good luck!

How do we work with fitbit because I can't seem to find how to contact them about my issue with the heart rate no longer working even after trying all the steps.   Or do we have to wait for them to happen upon one of our comments?

Unfortunately it looks like the only fix is getting a new one.  I had mine replaced.  I didn't have mine nearly as long so don't know about warranty or anything for you
