I have to restart my phone , restart my watch and in the end it doesn't work .

Anyone planning to purchase the watch pls don't they have syncing issues .

The watch is good but the connection for Bluetooth and notification sucks big time.

This is exactly the same as me. Love the watch and want the notifications
etc to work. That's the whole point of getting it otherwise I'd have chosen
a cheaper version.
It's so frustrating and annoying.
Good luck. X

yes but you seem to have to keep redoing this over an over - On my iPhone 5s there is only one other bluetooth device connected, my car and only when I'm in it.  On the Fitbit phone app, All-Day Sync is on, but the only time it will sync with the fitbit is if both devices are on charge and sitting side by side. This means my watch time is nearly always wrong and it's not getting any notifications from the phone - pretty useless except for counting steps.  I open the Fitbit app on my phone, with the watch on the wrist of the hand I am holding it with, and it sits there saying it is "looking" for several minutes before just stopping. "Sync Now" is greyed out not an option, but even if it were, I shoudln't have to keep manually doing that - I certainly didn't for the first 10 months I had the watch.

My Versa 2 wont sync.  It was working until yesterday am.  I turned off and on wi-fi, bluetooth, restarted my phone, force stopped the app, deleted the app and re-installed it, and I even deleted my previous fitbit that died in January.  All software is up to date on my phone and the Versa 2 as well as the app itself.  The app just cannot fund my fitbit.  I have had the Versa for less than 2 months.  It counts steps but isnt getting notifications and I cannot update my steps in the app so I am not competing in my challenges.   So frustrating to have spent the money on something that doesnt work.  Ugh. 😡😡😡

I just purchased the Versa2 and It won't sync to save my life. Can't put music on it. It just crashes, and that's it.

I'm well versed in computers, but not so much with iTunes. I understand what is happening.  Its attempting to access iTunes, but crashes for some reason.

I did some experimenting, it it looks as if there is a problem with iTunes and the Fitbit app. It works well on a computer without iTunes. Could also be a problem with a computer that has a lot of music stored on it. It seems that Fitbit app needs to scan all the music and possibly runs into a memory deficiency. 98% of memory usage and then crashes is definitely a culprit.

I recently had to do a factory reset on my versa, delete my Fitbit account and reinstall them together. I am really frustrated with this problem and have not found a reasonable solution.

I did a factory reset on mine a few days after buying it and it no syncing
and it totally screwed up the watch, so, I gave it the benefit of the doubt
and went and exchanged if for the same watch and I still can't sync it.
It's basically useless.

I have to say, why aren’t the people at Fitbit doing something about this? It would be a great watch otherwise but for as much as it costs, I’ve wasted my money.

My phone is on the supported devices list (LG G6) and at first, aprox first 6 months of 2019, it worked perfectly. Then i had do start syncing it manually sometimes and most of the times notifications didn't work. Well now this is a total gamble. Today i've tried 3 hours already. And no, uninstalling is not an option for me. This is unreal. FIX IT, Fitbit!

I have just had a chat with FitBit and sadly if your phone isn't on the
list of compatible devices it won't work... Grrrrrr

Unfortunately if your phone is on the list is doesn't work either. That is the worst excuse ever.

I've got to agree. I worked with support twice and it's been months since I have been able to get my Versa to sync. I was told it was a known issue with the most recent android os and that it would be resolved eventually. Still not resolved and how will it be resolved if my device won't connect to sync/update?

🙄 I paid over 150 dollars for less than a year of use and now I just have a watch that won't even tell time correctly.
