Don't have a Garmin, sorry. I connected my Versa 2 with my Fitbit app. I
guess it syncs with that, because it seems to work now . GL

How disappointing is this!. I upgraded as I wanted on board GPS.  3 days  and more factory  resets. Uninstall and reinstall apps, shut down phone,  re start phone later  the **ahem** thing  persists in unpairing, rebooting itself randomly  and stopped recording my run halfway  through.  Enough,  I  wanted  something better,  not worse. I've returned it, fortunately I still have my versa 2 as a fall back  device.  I also  had to cancel the sports strap I have ordered,  spoke to customer  services and she couldn't have seemed less interested!!. I guess I will end up with a Garmin eventually.

Looks like I have had a word moderated. And the moderation  makes it look like I  used something  quite profane.  Which I am certain  I didn't, even  if inside  I was screaming it!

Looks like the '***ahem***' got you. Cracked me up 😂

I wonder how they decided to replace  my word with **ahem**?

When  I read my post I  skipped  over it, then went  back  thinking  what the ahem is this?!!!!

This also worked for me BUT......

I should not need to do it every second day. That is apparently what will be required as my fitbit and phone are yet again refusing to sync after looking online for this help only two days ago.

I had to uninstall the Fitbit app and restart the phone. I also thought it may have been low power so the phone was recharged too and it the sync was fine yesterday but this morning SAME PROBLEM except the power is 100%.

This is simply and unacceptable situation and your solution as stated above is both unrealistic AND unacceptable.

Your device will be returned to the vendor and you as an organisation need to seriously up your game as it appears this is a known problem with your devices.

The biggest disappointment I have is that the device its self is wonderful and so is the app WHEN IT WORKS.

BUT IT CLEARLY DOES NOT WORK AS IT SHOULD.

GARMIN HERE I COME.

Disappointing isn't it? Sometimes you'd like to be told to bear with us, we're working on a solution,  but to  be made to feel that all the faffing is just  par for the course isn't acceptable. I hope eventually this problem is acknowledged.

It’s unfortunate that so many of us have the same experience and get absolutely no support from Fitbit.  I got an Apple Watch and I’m done with it.

I would have considered  an Apple watch , but I don't like the iPhone,  so have to stick with  android compatible. You're right though,  I'm  sure Fitbit is fully  aware of these issues.

Honestly, I stopped using my Versa Lite. Wasn’t worth the aggravation anymore.

I loved my Fitbit products, until the sync issues happened. After numerous emails, phone calls, resets and the like, Fitbit told me that my 13 month old product was outside of the 12 month warranty, and I could get a 25% discount on their new products.

I planned to do it, but they wouldn’t answer one simple question - “will my new device have the same issues with syncing?”

That sealed it for me

Fitbit support never gave me a resolution. Unfortunately there was nothing that I could do. I ended up going to team Apple and never looked back.

Mine was a week from warranty by the time I got someone to listen, I mailed it to them to fix, they could not sent me another one, totally wrong color but at that point I’d take anything. So it will be a year in the spring when a year is up, let’s see what happens then. They said I could not send this one back no warranty so...., which doesn’t make sense but it is prob a refurbished one who knows Apple next time for sure.
