Versa lite touch screen not working

I boight my versa lite a month ago and the touch screen stopped working. I restarted it numerous times but it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do i need to have it replaced?

I bought my Fitbit Lite 6 weeks ago & now my main screen where the clock as isn’t working. I’m sooo disappointed

I think there are too many of us with problems for this to be bad luck -
there seems to be a significant problem

Same Fitbit Versa Lite issue here. Touch screen stopped working one day while I was sitting at my desk. Here's what I've tried:

 

-restarted Fitbit multiple times
-restarted my phone
-updated the iPhone app
-verified I was using a Fitbit clockface
-did a factory reset
-updated firmware. Seven. Times.

 

I'm out of ideas. Something's seriously wrong, here.

I restarted mine like 7 times in a row and it finally started acting right again. So frustrating. I almost feel like they do it on purpose to get us to upgrade

Same for me. I have tried the factory reset, change the clock and nothing.

Same here.  Switched to a fitbit watch face.  Reset multiple times.  Touch screen still doesn't work.  Are there new steps to take?

Nothing else as long as you have the latest updated firmware, if it's under
warranty contact customer service. You might get a new one. Other than
that. We're most likely out of luck.

A recent firmware upgrade was done and updated the phone & watch.As of now it has started working again.I haven’t changed the face clock as yet to make sure it doesn’t hang...but on the current one,the touch screen seems to have started working properly.its been just 2days since the upgrade.else reach out to customer support.they are very efficient.

I got this as a replacement as my previous fitbit died. Now the screen on this one isn't responding - less than a year old. I've taken all the step indicated to restart, reset - but still same issue - screen has a slight off and on fading as well when lit up.

Sounds like they gave you a refurbished unit. I would demand. A new one

Update:  My Fitbit was under warranty. I have received a replacement and it's working great.

Im about to do the same, my versa lite reboots constantly, will no
respond to touch, won't swipe to advance to more screens etc.... and it's
only 4 months old!

If you call customer service the very helpful, they walk you through some
troubleshooting steps. And if your device is still under warranty. They'll
send you a link to get you a new one. As much trouble as I have with mine.
The opposite was true of customer service. They were terrific.

UPDATED UPDATE touch screen quit working again. I contacted customer service yesterday, they instructed me to do a master reset. It took over 24 hours for the master reset, and it never fully updated. I contacted customer service again this morning they have exhausted all options and are sending me another replacement in the mail. I requested a new, not refurbished Fitbit. I only had this replacement for 2 months.

I have tried all the steps for resetting my versa lite. Nothing is working, it powers on fine, but the screen is unresponsive, it shows the clock face, but it does not respond to taps to move to the settings or any other options on the fitbit. Can you please help me. Is there a fix for this, or do i have to buy a new one?

I seem to have bad luck with fit bit. My first fitbit alta never worked correctly , and upgrading to the versa lite seems to be a mistake for me. 

Feeling so disappo

Call customer service they will send you a replacement as long as it's under warranty. I only had my last replacement 2 months and they are sending another

I too am having recent trouble with an unresponsive touch screen on my Versa Lite that I just received a few months ago. I have attempted the restart, the factory reset, deleting it and re-adding it to my app, updating my tracker software, but I cannot get any of it to work. I no longer have access to any clock face. My screen will only show the fitbit logo or an information screen telling me that I need to sync my fitbit because 'Data not cleared Sync & try again' even through I was able to sync it less than a minute ago. It is still tracking my data, but I no longer have a watch or the ability to see my stats unless I open the app on my phone.
