Hi @Grimmi - this might be related to the unreliable step counting bug it is something that needs fixing as it affects many people, giving misleading information.

I keep losing steps. I was at 7,000 then it increases to 8,000 then decreased to just under 6,000. I’m concerned it’s syncing elsewhere but I’ve checked and double checked and turned off Apple health. It’s typically after I’ve put in “workout” mode on my watch.

Several times this past week I hit one step value, and then an hour later they are gone and my step count is thousands of steps lower. Anyone else seeing this issue?

I am having the same issue, usually it is happening after I have reached my 10k steps and I get the reward screens, then a few thousand steps late I suddenly find my watch showing an amount below 10k - usually between 7,500 to 8,500. In the App it has the day marked with a tick even though the step count is now below target. Quit bewildering. have no other devices connected and have rebooted both the watch and phone.

Hi @runnergirl111 @genwolf - see Unreliable step counting bug there is no fix for the random steps short of turning off Bluetooth but once it's turned on again you can get random results, which may become accurate after lots of manual syncing.

I am also having this issue and it is beyond frustrating when you’re working towards fitness goals. Screen shots show different steps within seconds. An hour ago I was on 5000+
I have an iPhone 14pro all iOS and fitbit up to date
Watch is versa 3
