Is anyone elses Versa not keeping time? It wont sync either.

When it finally does the time will be correct for about 1 minute then the time is off again.

Yes I’ve had this problem since 15 April.  Lose about 1 hour over the course of the day.  Also huge problems getting Versa to sync to the app.  I have tried all the recommended measures to fix literally hundreds of times, so frustrating.  Nothing wrong with the Bluetooth on my iPhone, nothing wrong with my wi-fi.  Definitely a problem with the Versa. Restarts on Versa and iPhone, Bluetooth on and off, deleting and reinstalling the app, deleting the device altogether and repairing (this was almost a disaster because it took about 4 hours to be able to pair again).  I have been able to sync once a day, always at night, and always over the course of an hour of continually trying to connect with the Versa in its charger. .  Time rectifies on the Versa but within the minutes of wearing again it starts losing time.  Seems a lot of people have this problem but Fitbit just keeps referring everyone to the recommended fixes (which DON’T work).

Yes! That is exactly what is happening to me. I have tried all their measures to start, reboot, etc. Nothing is working. I lose about quite a bit more time than an hour. Its been happening since March for me. I am also not able to sync a seamlessly. I might get a sync once every 3 or 4 days. I have quit wearing it, which is annoying. I paid good money for it, and I rely on it for work. But now, it sits on my night stand "waiting for an update" that fitbit told me was going to happen when I talked to them in March, but when I talked to support yesterday, they told me they had no plans for an update. I have attached a picture of how bad mine had gotten.

This happened to me a month ago, I was in Tahoe and it died. Once I got home and charged it it was the wanky time of when it died. I had to recharge it and also reconnect it to the Fitbit app.  Now it works for me

Yep, this just recently started happening to me too. Sometimes I'm able to sync it with my phone (Samsung S10), sometimes not. After it syncs, the time will be correct for a bit, but then it happens again.

I've restarted my Versa, nothing. I uppaired my Versa, that only caused me to lose unsynced data, and I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the Fitbit app, nothing again.  This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

As a result, my alarm did not go off at the right time, because my Fitbit was nearly an hour off and I almost missed a virtual meeting!

Do you think they won’t issue an update because the model has been superseded?  That’s a rip off if that is the case.  I’ve been doing a lot of reading and searching about the problem.  Some find that all of a sudden, after weeks of problems, it just starts working again.  Others have given up and purchased a different product.  Some are still trying.  I’m waiting for an answer from Fitbit but I’m not very confident of a positive result.

I suddenly had a prompt for an update, shortly after reporting this problem. Unfortunately it's still happening after I installed the new update.

I have doubts that there will be an update that fixes this issue because this model is now antiquated. I'm really bummed about this, I've been using Fitbits for several years now, but I'm not sure I just want to keep having to buy a newer model.

Really unfortunate.

@JBroFit - Yes, I use mine for work. I work in HR at a factory. We are not allowed to pull out our phones. So when I am on the floor talking with employees. I leave my phone in my pocket and rely on my fitbit to remind me of meetings, emails, etc. I missed a morning production meeting because my watch was off by 3 hours. I agree thats frustrating and very dissappointing. These watches are not cheap, and I dont believe that if I have to buy a new model just to get one that works, that I will be going with this company.

@GrammyCath I think your right, that their wont be an update, that it is a rip off. I have read a bunch too, and I keep trying and trying and I am not going to be one of those lucky few that it all of a sudden starts working I dont think. Let me know when you get your answer and what they say. Thanks!

@JBroFit I havent seen an update for me for a while. They had me force a shutdown too, which would prompt an update if needed. Nothing. I agree their probably wont be an update since they have new models. I too have been using fitbits for several years, 4 or 5, I believe, and if my fitbit was more than 2 years old, I wouldnt mind to update, but mine is barely over a year old, and been taken care of. I feel like this shouldnt be happening, and if its because their are newer models, then thats just crap, and I wont be buying a new model.

@Kat2109  I have done everything support has asked me to do. Restart, force shut down, uninstall, reinstall app, turn off bluetooth, turn on bluetooth, just everything and nothing. I have a Samsung S8 with the most recent operating system update. Very annoying.

just found this posted a couple of hours ago.  But what I want to know is how we do an update if our watch won’t connect to either Bluetooth or wifi?  They just tell you to go through all those steps again, which we’ve all been doing to no avail.

@GrammyCath I agree, how is that supposed to work. The article says it will be released in phases. How are we supposed to know our time for update has been released if we cant get it to sync at all to get the update?

I did my update.  It did not fix the time issue nor any of the syncing or wifi problems.  I was instructed by Support to do a factory reset.  Didn’t fix the problems.  Support is now assessing what it will do for me.  My Versa is obviously kaput.  So frustrated and disappointed.

@GrammyCath I am trying to do my update now, but when I went to try to sync it, it wont let me. I thought I would try to turn it off and turn it back on (you know like they have been telling us should be fixing it) and now it wont turn on at all. I have given up all hope for my versa or getting help to get it fixed.
