Versa not tracking sleep accurately

My Versa has said I’ve had an hour or less sleep for the last four nights. I’ve adjusted the band, I’ve restarted and nothing is helping. It was working fine, I’d have an inaccurate night here or there which I could adjust for the most part and I know is due to the tracker not getting consistent heart rate, but at this point I’m thinking this is beyond me and is the tracker. I’m getting very frustrated as it is inaccurate data and ruining my log and averages. My Charge 2 never had this problem this many days in a row.

My Versa starts tracking two hours after I go to bed or in the middle of my sleep it says I’m awake for two hours. Those are just examples. Sometimes it says I sleep two hours at one time! How do I fix this!

I'm reading this on March 19. 2020 and this is still an issue with the Versa.  I had this similar issue before and reset my Versa.  That seemed to work.  Now its starting up again.  I don't understand how other Fitbit versions can be so accurate and the Versa just doesn't remain consistent.   I am half tempted to buy one of the less expensive Fitbits just to track my sleep so I can avoid further frustration.

I’m disappointed with the Versa 2, as it is not tracking my sleep accurately!  I used the Fitbit Charge 3 for years and was pleased with the accuracy.

The Versa 2 starts tracking from the beginning when I wake up at 2:30am to go to the bathroom.  I’ve been asleep for 2 or 3 hours prior to getting up, and it’s only show 4 hours for the night!
such a big disappointment with this model.

the sleep part of the app subtracts the time that you go to the bathroom. it thinks your awake. sometimes if you toss and turn it also may think your awake and will subtract that time also.
