Versa notifications not being consistent

Is anyone else having the same issue as me? The notifications for text messages and other notifications were working on my Versa. They now keep stopping. I have to then go into notifications on my app and it keeps saying phone restart. I restart my phone and then it works for a while, then it stops again. I should not have to keep restarting me phone every hour for the notifications to work. It seems Fitbit have quite a few small issues with the Versa.

Hi @dianewordsmith I did see your post, much appreciated, I un-paired all other devices, restarted my phone and within 5 mins it was asking me to restart my phone again.

Pretty annoying to have un-pair all my other devices to get this thing to work. I use an Alta HR for sleep tracking at night or any other time I'm not wearing the Versa, now I can't use it? My Pebble just worked properly with all my other devices.

@ghammer1980, I don't think it's a matter or another Bluetooth connection precluding all functions from working on the Versa. In my case, with the portable speaker connected, it was blocking the text notification to the Fitbit. Same with my car Bluetooth.

I am unableto receive any notifications from my galaxy s9 plus cellphone to my Fitbit versa... under notifications I don't receive anything related to my phone just all the push notifications that can be pushed from the versa. Has anyone else had any issues like this?  Any advice on this matter is appreciated.

I’ve found over time their support is useless.

I think most of the time they guess.

I’ve had my Versa one day and having issues with sleep and text notifications.

Getting closer and closer to buying an Apple Watch.

I've had a galaxy watch for years and was looking to make the switch but if notifications won't push to watch I'll be sending it back

I tried a hard reset and trying to update the watch was a sheer melt, I gave up on the watch and returned mine and the wife's, just not worth the hassle. tried a Ticwatch, smashing piece of kit, might get one of those.

I have also returned mine due to all issues that are not getting resolved.

Its unfortunate because it would have been a **ahem** good piece of kit if it delivered what was promised.

Well, my Versa was receiving notifications just right until yesterday's App update. Now it doesn't, app on my Android BB Key One is just asking me to restart the phone on and on. Frustrating.

I came to this forum regarding this issue - purchased last night and the notifications have never worked at all in the last 18 hours, not texts, apps notifications or calendar reminders... but the phone calls were detected and I had all the notifications and permissions switched on in the app and on the watch. I rebooted watch, phone, sent myself test messages but nothing.. nada...It was extremely frustrating.

However, I saw the post regarding the app update and  though 'I only installed it last night' but double checked - I must have literally set up my watch hours before it was uploaded to the store! So far so good - am now receiving notifications

I've just resolved my problem, at least for now too... uninstalled and then reinstalled Fitbit App, now notifications are on again. Let's see if they stay...

My challenges seem to have resolved them self after their update went through yesterday.

You’d think they’d beta test before going to market.

This watch is really a colorized version of my old Pebble watch.

Having read some reviews I expected more from this watch out of the box.

Same! I keep restarting, uninstalled the app and reinstalled, checked my do not disturb (which is not on) and I still am not getting my notifications!

I thought my issue was related to conflicting Bluetooth devices, but this morning, I got one text notification and then missed another one. Then a call notification failed to deliver to my Versa ... but I also realized that while the screen on my phone was indicating an incoming call, my phone was not audibly ringing. The phone wasn't on mute/do not disturb, etc. A call immediately before and another one right after rang through fine. So ... in my case — and possibly in others — it could my older iPhone 5s is getting a bit long in the tooth. I'm suspecting it may be an issue with the phone not sending the message to the Versa. I restarted my phone, checked all settings again and things are working again on both phone and Versa.
