Versa notifications not working with Galaxy s10

I have read a bunch of responses about the Versa not being compatible yet with the S10....seems weird to me but hey what do I know. Anyways I can get the Versa to sync but my notifications will only come to the watch for about an hour or so after restarting and re-syncing then they stop again. I always check the settings after a restart/re-sync to be sure notifications are on and unchanged. Anyone else with the issue found a fix?

I'm sorry it's been some bs with this watch did u go back in your phone and make the Samsung message app back to your default message and in the Fitbit app as well I'm really shocked it worked for me

I'm sorry just keep trying it hopefully it will work for you soon but best believe I'm not getting super excited untill it works for at least a week

Update the Fitbit.  Change my default back to Samsung message on phone and fibit app.  Finally recieving notification on my watch with the Samsung message app again.

I got it to work...I also had to unpair and pair it again and messages are now coming thru from.Samsung Message app. Thanks!!!Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I never used the default apps. I just waited patiently. I tried using the google app and that worked but seemed like a lot so I went back to the original setting. Today I didn't do anything, just all of a sudden I started feeling the vibration on my wrist. I just hope it continue working for me. I gave up a while back and got the Huawei GT 2, its everything that Versa doesn't have.

CMON Fitbit get your act together , when are you coming up with a fix with this issue , so many frustrated people with this.   I started my own post a few weeks backs but all I hear is crickets from FITBIT !!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and a fitbit versa.  I stopped getting text notifications on my fitbit yesterday.  i have restarted my phone and made sure my notifications were on. Can anyone help me to get my texts on my fitbit versa again?

How do you change it back to the Samsung Default Message app?  When you did this you got texts on your fitbit again?

Yes it did work just go to your message app the one with the 3 dots and
make it your default message

Has this been resolved yet?  My Versa was working fine with my S7, upgraded to S10 and now Fitbit will tell me I have a text message, not who it is from and I can't read it.  If I say "Open" message it kicks me back to the clock.

It sounds we all need further assistance, yet nothing has been done yet. Has this issue been corrected with the Samsung 10 and maybe I am syncing wrong or are we just out of luck for trying to get our text messages?

My notifications have been working on my Samsung S10 for many, many months. If I recall,  it started working after a Fitbit update to my Versa 2.  Make sure your Versa 2 has latest software. After the update, I needed to uninstall fitbit app, reinstall app, pair, and make sure text notifications were set ON in the app. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
