I have had my versa 5 days and it's not counting steps accurately. It's is very intermittent. Sometime I can walk for 10 to 20 steps and it doesn't count any. I contacted fitbit and they got me to do a test. In this test I had to walk in a straight line and like a solider, it counted 97 out of 100 steps so they said there is not an issue. I explained that you don't always walk in a straight line and it's very intermittent. Fitbit don't want to know and are been unhelpful. Has anyone else had this same issue? Also the exercises are not recording in the app dashboard on workout and circuit training mode, they record stats on the watch but in the app it doesn't show stats for time or calories in the front exercise screen. The charge 2 used to record time.and calories burnt. The versa just shows a -- for.calories burnt. Think maybe there are still some small issues to resolve with the versa.

Best AnswerMy Versa is brand new and doing the same - intermittent recording of steps which is the main reason i use the product. This is my 4th Fitbit over the years and I love for all it’s other features and it’s by far the most comfortable Fitbit I’ve owned. However its annoying to say the least that it’s not performing - let’s get this right Fitbit or your going to loose customers.

Best AnswerHaving the same issues. Had a hr a while back, it broke and decided to try the versa. I woke in retail do easy a 20,000 steps in 5 hrs. This watch has counted about 5,000 lol. Not sure what is going on. Not happy!
Best Answer1Ladyamazon,
Unfortunately you'll need to make your arms swing to make the step tracker work until Fitbit fixes the step tracking algorithms.

Best AnswerI am having the same issue with my versa, today i put both my versa and charge 2 on and the charge 2 clocked up a good 100 more steps than the versa, The versa is not tracking all my distance on a run either, the place i run is a circular of 2 and a half miles yet only shows i have done 1.7 miles, this is without taking my phone with me as i would rather not have to when i go for a run ![]()
Best AnswerI have had my Versa about a week. Yesterday evening there were no steps, but, beside were my step should be to the right is a minus number. Right now it is -4384. I did what you said, I held the left button until the Fitbit logo came on the screen, when it came back on it was still the same.
How do you get FitBit Help?????
Best AnswerMy Versa is also not counting my steps accurately. It’s very disappointing. I do not think one shoukd have to walk like a soldier for it to be tracking correctly. It makes me wonder why I spent all this $$ when the one I used to wear on my pocket (much more convenient) was way more accurate. Does anyone from Ftbit read these posts?

Best AnswerI have had issues with my Versa not counting my steps. I have restarted the watch several times. It will work properly for a little while. I'm also noticing the problem is happening more and more frequently. Any advice as to what to do next? I'm enjoying the watch and would hate to have to return it.
