Versa quit working after recent Google update

My versa suddenly quit working last week. It was working fine then stopped responding, blank screen. I set it on the charger thinking it needed charging. Nothing. I am hearing this is a common problem since the recent app update in October. I have a friend whose Fitbit Sense did the same thing a day later. What is being done to support those of us that can no longer use our Fitbit devices?

Mine will not sync most often, especially if I do not allow Fitbit to view my messages. I do pair it, but often it will not allow me to do that anymore. What’s the fix please Fitbit?

Everything about this new update and the new look of the Ap is horrible.  Nothing updates correctly, I don’t get notifications, it is just horrible.

I haven't received any response from Google or Fitbit. From what I'm hearing, they are offering 35% off a new device if you have a device that is still on warranty. Mine is 3 years old and was working fine. I'm certainly not looking to purchase another Fitbit device if this is how we are treated. Very disappointed as I've been a loyal customer for 10 years. I feel lost without it on my wrist!

Pretty sure mines out of warranty as well. I’ve been a Fitbit user for 5 years and this really upsets me knowing how much I spend on my versa only for it to be taken out by an update, I feel they should step up and replace the devices. I will not be purchasing another Fitbit! I have already ordered something cheaper that will work just fine for what I use it for.

Mine will not sync since uploading to google, am now looking at Apple, fed up of inconsistency of this product now!!!!

Same issues. Daily tracking seems to have stopped after the update. Reinstalled the versa and worked for a day, then stopped.

Disappointed in this whole thing. Fitbit is an expensive Dollar Store timepiece...

My versa won't charge, so I can't reinstall. Nothing happens when I put it
on the charger.

Mine won’t charge at times due to the charger not clamping tight anymore. I have to place a book or something fairly heavy on the face and it charges now. I’m hoping that may help you.  Also, mine would not sync the last 2-3 days. Today, I removed my Versa 2 on the app, powered my phone and Bluetooth off & back on, and re-set up my Fitbit. It finally seems to be working.  It’s syncing now.  Good luck!
