Weather app has asked me to sync since last evening. Still not working after several sync-ings and a restart. Suggestions or still some bugs?
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity
I had a similar problem. There is a fix, but you need to sync your watch via a WiFi network that doesn't require a login screen. I am traveling and work and hotel have login screens for their wifi, so I can't update till I get home. I hope this helps.
Best AnswerThanks all for the suggestions.
I have tried syncing in several different places (home, work, etc.) to no avail.
My weather app shows my city but otherwise is blank except for the message to sync the app.
Any other thoughts?
Hopefully Fitbit folks can clear this up.

Mine wasn’t working either. I just restarted my iPhone and tada... it’s working

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're all doing well! When syncing your weather app make sure you open in on your Versa and start a sync with your phone/computer, this will update the information. Additionally make sure you have the Keep widget alive option on on your tracker's settings so it can update the information.
@Khibby thank you for sharing what you did to fix this issue as it may help other members in the same situation.
Let me know how it goes!

Hello everyone. I had this issue too and what I noticed is that if you keep your Versa screen on it will sync your location (just tap it while the Versa and your phone are syncing). I would start by restarting the Versa itself by doing the following:
1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.
Additionally you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa by going to the bluetooth settings area on your phone and removing all devices listed there. Restart your phone and then open the Fitbit app to start a sync.
Keep me posted!

@tjdriver ugh! You're right. I feel silly now... 😐
ETA: Does your versa sync properly? Like steps etc? Are you able to receive notifications? Also, how do you have the weather app configured?
@Marrrmaduke no worries.
Everything else works fine. It's just this darn weather app. I've also tried to manually enter a city but that doesn't work either.
@tjdriver for me, only current location works and one preset location - Toronto. And then anyways the app loses Toronto. At least current location works... I hope they fix it...
