I just had a chat with Fitbit. I will be getting a replacement Versa, as I cannot do a factory reset to try to get it working again. The Chat is very helpful and quick for anyone that needs to use it.

Have you tried a complete shutdown?
A simple 3 button method is the same as a 2 button method. There is a 3 button advanced factory reset that requires multiple steps.
Another step that could be tried is to contact Fitbit.

What is the 3 button advanced factory reset? What I have found in videos so far is just holding all the buttons down, which does not help. I cannot go past the time screen as it will only flash on quickly so I can not get to anything on the Versa itself.

I'm glad support can help you out.
There are 2 ways to do a restart. I think this is what you refer to as a reset.
Holding in the left and lower right buttons. Holding in 3 buttons does the same restart.
Second way to restart is to open the settings, about, reboot.
A factory reset may also be done through the setting, about.
Or can be done using the 3 button method. See this post if your curious.
