I have received my Versa Thursday and after 2 hours of charging it. The battery got drained within 6 hours. I have charge it on a PC. last night, slept with the watch to wake up to see my watch is down to 0%. Any other user having this problem? Should I waiy for an update to correct that or its a harware problem. Thank you for your answers.

Hi,

i have a charcoal special Edition Versa that lasts less than 24 hrs. Full charge at 6am and it’s 75% by 12 noon and 50 percent in the evening. QuickView off , restarted, factory reset  still having problems.

I really like the form factor and how it looks but charging it daily is a deal breaker.

Coming from my FitBit blaze with 5 day battery life, this is a deal breaker.

i have a Blaze , charge and charge 2, all other devices have far better battery life.

The only reason I bought this over a Apple Watch was the battery life. Now it’s worse than an Apple Watch.

Is FitBit going to issue a firmware to resolve this or institute a hardware recall?

Have already spoken to Amazon CS and have the return label printed. If there is no acknowledgement from FitBit that there is a firmware patch to resolve this.... unfortunately this is going to go back.

Just exchange it for another one. I did and now I get four days. If you
have an REI nearby, buy it there, they have a 90 day return policy and are
very responsive.

Doctorwkt are you using the versa for workouts? Sounds silly but as you didnt mention this i assume younhit 6day cycle on the battery because you have used it as you say and no workouts or music?

Hi All,

I've only had my Versa for 3 weeks.  The first charge lasted 4 days.  The second charged lasted 3 and the 3 charge on lasted 2 days and died at night.  So much for tracking sleep.

I do have a 3rd party watch face.  It is: TH3 created by Terry   I will switch it back to a Fitbit face and see if that makes a difference.

Update from me. I just received my replacement Versa from Fitbit (there is much rejoicing)I am now charging it overnight & will start using it tomorrow. Fingers crossed the glitch with the battery has been resolved otherwise it will be time for me to switch devices. Stay tuned .

Decided to return mine today, 28 days into a 30 day return period.  Key factor was the flaky HR monitoring, I just got fed up with the spikes and having to reboot / restart it.   Battery life is a worrisome issue too.

I think Fitbit "cheaped out" on the single LED HR sensor, the old 2 LED trackers work a lot better.  My Blaze and Charge 2 are both still working and reliable.

For a store referral, though, B&H Photo in NY is taking it back for a refund, no problem.  I really like buying from them and hate to have to do this.  Bet I'm not the only one, though.

Dont blame you one bit. My versa batterynis causing me grief and the twitter support is useless for fitbit theyve asked me to do the same steps multiple timws and no difference. Syncinh is non existent too. 7hrs i tried to sync and nothing. My android phones bluetooth is working fine for everything else.

5th time used after recharge its lasting 3 days as long as I let it go to
zero and ignore charge when says low. Getting notification on basic fitbit
face. no bells and whistles. cw11

My new replacement watch last 5 days. The only thing that I’m having trouble with now is I can’t get text messages. It was fine before. Not sure what’s happening. Other then that is great. I have no other. complaints.

Yes, I’m getting almost 3 days if I let it die before charging. It also will not sync the charge so I have no idea when it’s going to die and it won’t track sleep anymore. It did when I got it a couple of weeks ago but won’t now. I tried reinstalling everything and starting as if it were new but no luck.  It’s great if you only need a watch.
I’m ready to return this thing!

My battery life keeps getting less and less,I’m down too twenty four hours. I’ve only had my versa a month. I’ve had a blaze for a year and a half and still get four to five days battery life.   I’m very unhappy about this and yes I’ve tried all the trouble shooting!!!

Battery life is worsening. Was 28 hrs on 1st charge now barely 12 hrs and it’s flat. Factory reset so many times, restarted, all settings turned off.. so buggy compared to the blaze.

anyway I have returned it. Fitbit needs to acknowledge this issue. The versa now has worse battery life than an Apple Watch .

Wiil finally bite the bullet and buy an Apple Watch tommorow.

24h 80% battery left. I have not yet charge full and empty. I must say if Versa is 5% left, then charge because this 5% will go fast...
