Hello that's awful. Hope Fitbit come back to you with a satisfactory
solution as I thought they were water proof enough for swimming as why else
would there be an option on the app to record swimming. Good luck.

I’m debating going back to Apple. The only downfall with the Apple Watch is the battery life. But at least you can respond back to texts and calls. Also adding music is easier on the watch. It was pain with the versa. It stinks I’ve been with Fitbit forever. Wish they would answer me back.

Battery life was 4 to 5 days when i first got my Versa but after a few weeks, it will barely last two days.  I have turned off all notifications and everything else that may affect the battery life per suggestions in this thread and still cannot get more than two days battery life.  Did something change recently?  I would not have bought this particular tracker if I had known the battery life would be so short...

Does anyone have suggestions on what the next course of action is?

So frustrated with the Versa - my first Versa battery would not hold any charge longer than 12-14 hours & that was replaced. The replacement has been working well for about six weeks & now it has just died with still more than 50% charge. Screen is black, will not charge or reset or anything. Surely FITBIT should recall this faulty launch, it is definitely damaging the FITBIT reputation.

Contact customer service via Twitter, they will run some diagnostic analysis & will send you a replacement once they validate there is an issue. Such a shame the Versa is a dud as it is has the potential to be a great fitness watch / tracker.

Oh that's awful. I have my replacement just over a month and so far so good
but as it's coming up to that 6 week mark it has had me worried it could
start acting up anytime. If they are faulty they should be recalled.

Get onto fitbit support by email and by DM on Twitter as Twitter will answer you quicker than email but you will have needed to email them otherwise that's what they'll tell you on twitter to do. They will follow your watch activity and if shows faulty will replace it ss that's whav they did for me.

I got mine in June and only had to charge it every 4-5 days as well. But I guess for last couple of weeks it's been draining so fast. After less than 11 hours it's down to 49% right now. And that's just a work day. Nothing strenuous.

Yes, I just went through 2 days of "chat" trying to get this fixed.  I'm so upset.  I've had the Versa since May.  They won't even replace it.  Per the warranty I should get 1 year.  I'm going to try and find a Samsung product.  I've been a customer for 6 years and the Versa is a huge dud.  They need to recall it.  They wanted me to take a picture of my Versa on a piece of paper and send them the picture with some numbers written on it.  Replacement process it ridiculous.

The new Apple watches are coming out soon! I am beyond furious that for 6
months I have asked for Fitbit to fix the OS so I could use my ionic and my
versa, as I choose and they could care LESS about what their loyal
Customers have asked for! They lost me as a customer which is sad since I
have bought 14 devices and given them as gifts, but they have made it clear
they don’t care. I can’t even get Fitbit to reply with a “we are working on
it and we hope to have it fixed in the next 6 months” or whatever. I am
SOOOOO disappointed in them.

I started having major issues with my versa battery life this weekend.  Friday evening the battery showed 65% life.  Shortly before 5 a.m. my versa buzzed and woke me.  The screen was a blank glow.  When the clock finally appeared, the second hand would show delays in advancing.  The device repeated the buzz and blank glow before completely dying.  I gave the device a full charge (wall outlet) and put it back on.  $ hours later ... dead again.  Put it back on the charger (now on a different outlet) and all it did was glow the Fitbit logo.  I took it off the charger after several hours of this to give it a "break" then put back on the charger hours after that.  Once it was fully charged again, but then dead again within an hour.

I put in a call (help chat), they gave me things to do to improve battery life and options on how to "test" the battery life.  If it can't hold a charge more than an hour, I'd say time for a switch.  Does everyone have some type of battery life issue using the versa?
