My Versa and iPhone app have had annoying hourly steps sync problems. I searched the forum; apparently, Fitbit did not propose a real fix for this problem although the problem has been reported for more than 6 months. Fitbit either does not care or could not find a solution, probably there is a chronic hardware problem with Versa and it cannot be fixed by a software update.
Besides that really annoying problem, I have encountered another annoyance yesterday. It began to the day without resetting the previous day's mileage. I had walked approximately 9 miles the day before, it started the yesterday with 9 miles after 12:00 AM. I walked another 9 miles yesterday but it shows 18 miles! How can I fix this, and do you know when Fitbit will find a permanent solution Versa's sync problems. Please do not suggest that reboot iPhone/Versa, disable/enable bluetooth, uninstall/reinstall software, etc. First of all, I tried all of them and it does not work, then even it works, it cannot be sustainable that way, we just need a proper working software.

@ferrath Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't sync your data correctly and it didn't restart the mileage few days ago. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Don'e forget to sync your Versa before a factory reset in order to avoid losing the current data.
Finally, set up your Versa from scratch and see if the issues get fixed.

Yeah everyday
I hate this watch. I had a versa 2 that was easier than this and had better tech.
