Versa won't sync

My Versa won't sync today.  I've force stopped it, turned bluetooth off. Restarted phone. Turned bluetooth on, Uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit app. Restarted Fitbit Versa.  Nothing happens.  Had to turn off notifications too as it keeps telling me nothing happened here every 20 minutes  It's never done that before.  Anyone else having sync or notification problems?

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains some steps that you already tried but you can skip them and try the remaining ones.

Same here. I was able to get it to sync early this morning; since I'm showing a current count on my phone app at 6,780 which is correct, but the count on the dashboard and my last sync on the PC for my "Workweek Hustle Challenge" on my phone is still showing my count from 7:28am - so strange.

I'm on my second hour (an hour last week and now another) and they keep giving me the run-around.  We paid a LOT of money for devices that don't do as advertised.

Same here, hasn't synced since my ios update-which was a week ago. Which actually coincides with when their app too was updated.

Hmmm - not sure what happened, but all of a sudden everything seems to be working. Nobody ever showed up on live chat.

I'm having the same issues and my battery drains quickly and the unit will shut off on it's own. I look at the Versa and all I see is the Fitbit Logo.  It's useless to wear it since it's not synching correctly.

Im hating it too. I lost like 4000 steps and lost my challenge. This never happened when I had the charge 2

No.  I was having other issues so sent it back for replacement.

Same, mine hasn't synced in three days. I don't know what else to do and it won't show the correct time now either 🤦‍:female_sign:

Let me help you with your Versa's that aren't syncing. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

@AlvaroFitbitI'm using the LG thinq - I had no problems until this post and it was on and off that entire week. I did everything you suggested multiple times that week. I also attempted to live chat with a tech, but waited for a good two hours and nobody was ever available. I've been a LOYAL fitbit customer since the original black and silver fitbit when I pre-ordered and had to wait, I waited so long that my original email and credit card information had to be updated due to my cc expiring and my email changing due to a job change. I've bought fitbits for gifts and had several people hop onto the fitbit wagon because of my love of the product. I only bought the Versa because I lost my One (and found two days later only to lose it again) as I preferred a non-wrist wearing device that's rechargeable, but you no longer make them - I think because they were too durable. Also, I primarily tucked my fitbit into the inside of my bra on the inner left side as I often don't have pockets with my career wear. I'll give you 1 guess where my breast cancer tumor was located in January of 2017 at 44 years old, right under where I wore that fitbit. I asked about it at my biopsy, but nobody wants to think about the possibility of all these "health devices" strapped to our bodies sending electronic signals 24/7/365 for YEARS on end and what they might be doing to us. BTW - I tested negative on all the top cancer genes too. I opted for a double mastectomy regardless so I have no worries of my fantastic plastic boobaroos trying to kill me, buy now I have the Versa strapped to my wrist.
