Versa won't turn on after factory reset.

A few days ago i noticed that the green blinking lights on the back of my Versa watch were not on so it was not detecting my hr. I turned it off and back on and nothing. I looked online and several people were having the same issue and i saw that there was a respinse from fitbit suggesting a factory reset. I tried that and as soon as i clicked on factory reset my watch turned off. It was fully charged (98%) when i did this and now the screen is completely black. Ive tried pushing the three buttons to turn it on for several minutes at a time and nothing. Ive tried leaving it to charge for a full day and nothing. This is very frustrating.

This exact same thing is happening to me. I’ve tried some trouble shooting tips and they did not resolve the issue.

I agree. After all sorts of problems yesterday. With it losing time. I tried reregistering it to the app (it took 15 attempts!!) deleting the app and reinstalling it. Then it wouldn't pair or reguster to my WiFi.  Nothing. Just stuck in a cycle of changing a clock face. Tried restarting it. Nope. In the end, I did a full factory reset and now its dead. Will not switch on. Im annoyed. Its been nothing but trouble.

Very frustrating indeed. I have messaged Fitbit but heard nothing. I love
the Fitbit app and features but this will probably be my last. Spent too
much time trying to resolve this .

I have the same issue and it doesn't vibrate on charger and it doesn't show any lights ..nothing just dead...and my versa was a gift from my daughter for Christmas 🤕

I recommend contacting their service desk. They are sending me a new one. No questions asked. yours should still be under warranty.

Ive contacted Fitbit through Twitter DMs (an unusual way to run a business) they got back to me. I gave them some details and they are going to get back to me. Hopefully it will be resolved. Thank you for your help and support

Same exact issue happened Thursday (just as quite a few others happened the same week). Contacted chat support and no troubleshooting happened. They sent me discount offer since I'm out of warranty (by less than 2 months). This is the 3rd fitbit I've purchased for myself - disappointed that they don't last at least 2 years. Time to go elsewhere.

Hi! I ended up purchasing a Versa 2... can't live without my fitbit. I do
however reset it every couple of weeks, or try to anyways, hoping that the
reboot will help in some way. With my others, I never did that and I'm
thinking it just got wore out. I also purchased a two year protection
plan. Fingers crossed I can get two years (at least) out of it. Thanks
for the reply!

Both my boyfriend and I are having the same issue, we selected factory reset and now neither of our devices will turn on, we’ve tried everything from pressing all buttons for 5 minutes + to holding just left and bottom, they’ve been on charge for the last 2 hours and still nothing. Please help!

The only thing you can do is to purchase a new one. There is no
coming back from this. Fitbit knows there is a problem. You will be in
luck if the warranty period is not yet over. If it is past the warranty
period, Fitbit will give you a discount on a new one. Either way, you have
to get a new fitbit.

Same issue! Ionic was acting odd today so I did a factory reset and now it won't come back on. I've watched videos and read articles on how to fix it but nothing works. Looks like I will be switching to Garmin. I loved my Ionic.

Exactly the same story. Wasn't

showing heart rate, no lights at the back. Restarting did nothing, so I picked factory reset from settings. (It was fully charged) it instantly turned off, and now won't start. I've recharged it for hours, held all three buttons for over 3 minutes, nothing. No vibration, nothing.

my fitbit clock was showing previous days date tried factory reset now cannotget anything at all on screen

So many people having the same issue, been in contact With Fitbit and they have refused to do anything seeing as my watch is 6 weeks past it’s warranty! They won’t accept that they should have recalled all of this device as there is clearly a software malfunction. Disgusting

Look at Leonardo xaviers you tube post on the ionic.

I had the same problem and this worked.
