I went to bed with my versa on and it was at 52% battery. When I woke up, it wouldn’t turn on at all like it was dead. I put it on the charger for about 2 hours and still nothing. In the Fitbit app, it cannot detect my watch. I have tried resetting it by holding down the buttons but still nothing. Has anyone experienced this and found something that works?

The same thing happened to me today. My watch was at 92% before I went to bed and now nothing is working. I tried everything and nothing happens. I just got my watch yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

same thing is happening to me. When going for help it only goes to this forum.... is there a number we can call or email or something? I have even tried plugging into different blocks and different outlets in the house. My fitbit app says the battery is empty? I've been charging it all day but there is no charge:(

My versa went black today was fine this morning 90% battery stopped around 1
pm EST. I’ve had this versa for 19 months with no issues.
I tried the 3 button reset with no results.
I’m also looking for any helpful advice.

Same thing for me, happened yesterday. What is going on?? It was charging day before with no issues and now my charger is picking up but only displays 0% briefly; battery was not at 0 when it died either. Does not respond to any reset buttons either. Are we just out of luck??

I am having the same issue. Fully Charged my Fitbit last night and it started vibrating and ‘acting crazy” all of the sudden today. Then it turned off and I cannot turn it back on.

I just did a chat with support and after the basic troubleshooting with no luck, they offered me a discount on a new device so I guess ours are done. I asked if this was a known issue since others are reporting and didn't get a reply directly to that question. Good luck

I'm with you. Really annoying! I tried to take the udpate and it kept failing. Missing a firmware update should not wipe out the device. I totally agree a warning would've been nice. Do you think you'll get another Fitbit?

The same thing happened to me. My Versa 2 was working this morning - did a spin class and logged it.
Then shortly after the fit bit logo came on the screen then it went blank.
I held in the button and it looked like a computer screen going haywire then went dead.
At one point it showed NO battery (The battery icon with red and a Red Explanation point) But I know it was at 40 percent battery life because I charged it before my spin class.
Is this a FITBIT outage issue since so many people are reporting this? My fit bit is only 6 months old -help, I am lost without it!!!

Plugged in my two-year-old Versa over the weekend and it didn't charge - in fact it was now totally drained. My wife got me two new chargers, neither worked. I've cleaned the contacts on the watch but that doesn't appear to have helped. The best I get is a brief red display of 0%. I tried the USB port on my laptop and that doesn't help either. I liked the Versa, but if it's only good for two years at what it costs, I'm not sure I'd be inclined to buy a new one. So short of replacing it, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Similar thing happened to my. Had my Versa for about 18mos. Was working fine until the last week. Over a few days it started draining the battery quickly, vibrating, doing weird things. The heart rate stopped working. I restarted it several times. At one point I put it on the charger and it wouldn't charge. Pulled it off and put it back on and then it worked. Yesterday decided to do a factory reset. Seemed OK, but HR still didn't work. This morning battery was low again, put it back on the charger. Now the screen won't come on at all. It still seems to be working, it will vibrate, if I try to hold down the buttons for a restart the screen will get brighter, but still not display anything. Oddly, it still seems to be tracking steps.

Just purchased my versa 2 today. Began setting it up. Appeared to began syncing to my android as I saw my steps count. Then the versa went black. I cannot get it to come on or light up at all now. I plugged it into a good power strip. Still nothing for the past few hours. Isn't it supposed to light up while charging? It is not the outlet because the lamp works. Can someone help me
